SOLO SEASON

Hey there <3

We’re so glad you’ve landed here! Solo Season was born from one simple idea: to help women gain the skills and confidence to head into the wild. Our overnight hiking trips aren’t just about covering k’s and bagging peaks; they’re about learning, laughing, and building resilience together, with lessons you’ll carry long after the tents are packed and the trail ends. We hope this space sparks a little inspiration to lace up your boots, step onto the trail, and discover just how capable you are out in the wild!

Why Multi-Day Hiking?
Because nothing beats waking up to the sunrise view, only accessible by the trail you hiked the day before. Overnight hiking is literally one of the best hobbies you could pick up. It pushes you, teaches you, and rewards you with a sense of independence you can’t find just anywhere. On a Solo Season adventure we hope to share valuable know-how, from navigation to camp cooking to gear solutions and everything in between.

Why Tasmania?
Tasmania is the ultimate playground for your first multi-day hike. Think ancient rainforests, alpine ridges, and beaches that feel like the edge of the world all packed into one island. The Tasmanian National Parks are world-class! The landscapes are wild and varied, from hiking the Walls of Jerusalem, to crossing the pearly white sands of Wineglass Bay. Hiking in Tasmania is an unforgettable experience that will stick with you and leave you wanting more. Come join one of our hiking tours in Tasmania!
